Children at Manyatta
Children are very welcome at Manyatta Rock Camp. However, please be aware there are only a limited number of chalets which provide a living room with an additional sofa bed which are able to sleep two children or one additional adult. We also have a few triple chalets available with an additional single bed which are able to sleep one child or one additional adult.
Please request either a triple chalet or a family chalet in advance as we only have six of these rooms available.
Alternatively we can accommodate children in rooms next door to their parents but would recommend this only for children of 8 years and above.
Please remember this is an unfenced camp in big game territory and children need to be supervised in a responsible manner at all times.
Prices for children’s accommodation
- Children 4 years and under are complimentary
- Children aged between 5 and 12 pay 50% of the Manyatta daily rate.
- Children aged 13 and above pay the full adult daily rate.
A babysitter can be arranged for small children at a small additional cost. This facility should be booked in advance as part of your reservation.
