Day Tour To The Panoramic Area

The tour departs from the Manyatta Rock Camp at 06h00am, you will receive a packed breakfast and lunch will be bought for you at one of the towns that you will be visiting during the day. The Panorama Route is one of the most scenic areas in South Africa and is usually visited as an add on to a safari. It refers to the long steep slope in Mpumalanga Province where the Drakensberg mountains separate the Highveld to the west from the Lowveld to the east. This beautiful region is a popular tourist destination and is well known for its spectacular views and waterfalls.

The tour offers the following scenic sights: God’s Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, The Blyde River Canyon, Historic Pilgrims Rest, Mac Mac Falls and the Berlin Falls.

Pilgrims rest is an historical mining town and has to a large extent been restored to depict the era of the past when people flocked to the town by ox wagon to pan for gold and make their fortune.

Drinks are for guests own account.

Please Note: It is important to bring comfortable walking Shoes, sun-block, hat, binoculars, camera, light clothes with light rain protection incase needed. Guests are back in camp in time for dinner.
